Composition:
Each ml contains:
Albendazole B.P. …….................................….90 mg
Oxyclozanide B.P. ……....................................45 mg
Excipients …..………….….....................................q.s.

Mode of Action:
Albendazole belongs to benzimidazole group of chemical compound and is active against most of the helminth parasites such as roundworms, lungworms
and tapeworms. Albendazole exerts its anthelmintic activity by interfering with the glucose metabolism of the parasite which leads to starvation and death of parasites. Oxyclozanide belongs to salicylanilide group of compound and exerts its flukicidal effect by uncoupling the oxidative phosphorylation reaction in the mitochondrial fractions involved in electron-transport-associated events. This uncoupling is lethal to fasciola species and also other blood-sucking helminthes. Oxyclozanide is also effective in removal of Moniezia spp. in sheep and cattle.
