Description:
A broad spectrum anthelmintics combination in oral suspension form for Use in Cattle, Sheep, and Goats for removal and control of liver ukes, roundworms
and tapeworms

Mode of Action:
Albendazole is a benzimidazole anthelmintic active against most nematodes and some cestodes. The drug exerts its anthelmintic activity by interfering with the normal metabolic functioning of the parasite. Albendazole selectively blocks the glucose uptake by adult helminthes in the intestine and their tissue dwelling larvae. Inhibition of glucose uptake leads to endogenous depletion of glycogen stored within the parasite. This in turn causes a decrease in the formation of adenosine triphosphate, which is essential to the survival and reproduction of the helminth. By this mechanism, the drug slowly depletes the energy levels of
the susceptible parasites, which are initially immobilized and then killed. Rafoxanide acts by disconnecting the mitochondrial reactions involved in electron-transportassociated events from ATP generation. This disconnection or uncoupling is lethal to Fasciola Species and other blood- sucking helminths including nematode Haemonchus contortus
